After Reading This, You Will Never Throw Away Mandarin Peels Again

Mandarins are incredibly delicious fruits appreciated by many. You can eat them anywhere and you regularly throw away the peel. But in fact, they are very useful and healthy. Mandarins can be used in a number of ways.

Sore throat -Here’s what you need to do: Grind 50 grams of peels and place them in a jar. Pour over with a glass of vodka or 40- percent brandy. Close the jar and leave to stand for a week in a dark place.

Eat one spoon of it after meals, and then eat a spoon of honey as well.

You can also use these peels to prepare the following delicious desert:

Candied mandarine peels

Ingredients:

    500- 600 g mandarins
    300- 400 ml of water
    1 teaspoon salt
    350 ml water
    honey

Procedure:

Peel the mandarins and save their peels. Place the peels in the bottle, pour them with 300- 400ml of water and add a tablespoon of salt. Cook until it boils, and then remove the water. This will remove the bitterness of the peel.

Cut the cooked peels into thin slices. In another bowl, mix 350g sugar with 350 ml water and allow the mixture to boil, and the sugar to melt. Add the prepared peels and cook on low heat about half an hour or until the peels become translucent and the syrup thickens.

Carefully transfer them to a strainer to drain and dry, then dip them into sugar and spread them on a baking paper to dry again. Keep them in a jar, add them in cakes or drinks or use them as snacks.

  1. I have read many other uses of these peels. They are great for a young, fresh and wrinkle free skin. Dry the peels and make their powder and mix them with milk to apply as a mask on face.
